Our client is a leading industrial and business to business advertising and marketing services agency working with clients through out the UK, Europe and North America. They provide strategic consultancy, and a complete range of services from market research to technical copywriting and require an account manager*marketing manager to join the team.
This exciting account manager*marketing manager role involves managing one larger account within the IT sector plus a number of smaller complimentary accounts within this industry.
The role reports into the Managing Director and involves attending regular client meetings and account managing multiple campaigns from the inception to completion. Candidates will be involved in generating content and copy shaping for a number of regular industry publications including a monthly catalogue, emails and direct mail. Candidates will be involved in project managing and coordinating the marketing campaigns between the client and agency to meet constant deadlines.
The candidate will be based at the clients offices 2*3 days per week and the remaining time will be spent at the agency in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience in a marketing communications role preferably from a business to business advertising agency. Candidates must have experience of marketing IT products preferably HP products or a large IT manufacturer. Strong project management skills are essential coupled with the ability to work on your own initiative to meet pressing deadlines. Candidates must be confidant communicators and able to liaise with the client at all levels. PC literacy to an advanced level in word, excel, access and email is essential.
